+++ December 2007: UNSW International House Minoru Hokari Memorial Scholarship Fund total assets exceed A$51,000.

+++ November 2007: The 4th award ceremony for UNSW International House Minoru Hokari Memorial Scholarship was held. Minoru Hokari Scholar for 2008 were Ms Jean Loo and Ms Fiona Lee. Ms Jean Loo articulates in her future vision which is focused on helping the disadvantaged and being involved in outreach programs such as community psychology. She has a very high academic record including the University medal in psychology and an International Postgraduate Students award. Ms Fiona Lee has been involved in university mentoring and orientation for Foundation students, and as a volunteer in several community organisations.

+++ October 2007: ANU's Minoru Hokari Memorial Scholarship Funds total assets exceed A$63,000.

+++ July 2007: Minoru Hokari Memorial Scholarship (A$5000) was given to Ms Crystal McKinnon, who is an indigenous student from University of Melbourne. The number of applicants has doubled to 8 this year.

+++ April 2007: Minoru Hokari Book Collection at RSPAS (ANU, Pacific Asian History Dept.) was moved to RSSS (ANU, Research School of Social Sciences, History Program, Resource room). Exact location is Room #3124 in Coombs building).

+++ November 2006: The third award ceremony for UNSW International House Minoru Hokari Memorial Scholarship was held. Minoru Hokari Scholar for 2007 were Ying Ying Liew, a medical student from Malaysia and Mimi Ho Ming Kan, a psychology student from Australia.

+++ August 2006: The market value of ANU's Minoru Hokari Memorial Scholarship Fund has reached at A$53,142.

+++ July 5th, 2006: The inaugural award (A$5000) for ANU Minoru Hokari Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Ms. Lorina Barker, an associate lecturer in the School of Classics, History and Religion at the University of New England. "I'll now be able to afford another four weeks in the field, which means I'll be able to collect much more data than I had originally thought possible"

+++ June 2006: An advertisement for CD launch (the conference "Locations of Spirituality" that Mino convened in 2002) was sent. The CD launch will be held at ANU on July 5, 2006. The profit from the sale of the CDs will be donated to ANU's Minoru Hokari Memorial Scholarship Fund.

+++ May 2006: From the rescue mission of Mino's two translations, US$1300 (appx. A$1500) was donated to ANU's Minoru Hokari Memorial Scholarship fund. Thank you very much for your help and support.

+++ Apr 2006: A conference discussing Mino's work was held in Tokyo. More than 100 including young scholars in various fields attended.

+++ Feb 2006: With lots of help, we saved all the 86 copies of "Seimei no Daichi" (the acutual sale was 124 copies) and 140 out of 327 copies (the actual sale was 158 copies) of "White Nation" which are Mino's two translations, from the partial disposition planned by the publisher (as of May 10). We will donate the part of the sale to the ANU's Minoru Hokari Memorial Scholarship Fund.

+++ Jan 2006: Ochanomizushobo, the publisher of Mino's book "Radical Oral History," won the only publishing award in Japan.

+++ Jan 2006: Mino's series of columns "The Living Earth: The World of the Aborigines" was translated by Kyoko Uchida and published in an Australian academic journal "Conversations" (Vol.6 No.2 Summer 2006: pp.49-75)(Pandanus Books). +++ Oct 2005: A part of "Radical Oral History" appeared in a magazine called "Kaze no Tabibito" (Vol.16 October issue)

+++ Sep 2005: Mino's high school alumni association created the material introducing Minoru Hokari and started distributing digital copies.

+++ Feb 2005: Mino's treasure from his field work, the precious recorded tapes of Gurindji's oral history, were donated to Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies (AIATSIS).
