International House is recognised as an outstanding collegiate college that values cultural diversity and community service.

>> International House Scholarships

The International House Scholarship Fund was established 2003 through the generosity of alumni and friends of the College. A Scholarship Committee of alumni was created to formulate policy and procedures for the administration of the funds with the broad aim to facilitate the mission of the College and to assist residents with financial needs. The Scholarship Committees aims to establish several scholarships and awards serving various needs of the community.

In 2004 the International House Minoru Hokari Memorial Scholarships was established to provide financial assistance to residents who have demonstrated a commitment to international friendship and cross-cultural understanding and encourage them and others to make a contribution to society. The annual scholarship of $1,000 towards accommodation at International House was dedicated to the memory of Minoru a resident of the House who passed away at the age of 33 for his work and "service above self" to the Gurindji people of Australia.
