Professor Tessa Morris-Suzuki: Research School of Pacific and Asian History, Australian National University. The last chapter of her book, "The Past within Us" references Mino's work and she mentions him in the acknowledgement.

Steve and his daughter, Pip, have been very close friends of Mino through the International House, the University of New South Wales.
